This site is a reference for Raspberry Pi board-level repair. The goal is to collect and organize hardware repair data that is currently scattered across forums, videos, and personal notes into a single searchable resource.

I recently become interested in micro-soldering/electronics repair. I'm a hands-on learner and was trying to decide how I could get some hands on experience. I came up with trying to source broken Pis that I could learn on. A) They are relatively cheap (at least olders models are) and B) No need to waste time with cases and having to take a million screws out of a laptop. I could acquire boards and get right to learning.

After I got my first couple of boards I found there was very little information online that wasn't "they are cheap, just buy a new one". I started collecting my own notes and measurements which quickly become a scattered collection of markdown images and hacked up board images. I opted to try and get a little more organized and hence came up with the idea of this site.

Target Audience

This site is intended for folks who like to tinker and want to try and fix their Raspberry PI, even when it doesn't make sense economically.
